Sunshine Coast is made up of several small towns in close proximity to one another. Some of them are Caloundra, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Coolum and Noosa, each with its unique characteristics.
Maroochydore is one of the main towns in the Sunshine Coast. It has an excellent marina that provides a mooring site for beautiful yachts. The neighbouring town of Mooloolaba is so close that it is difficult to say where one town ends and the other begins.
Noosa is the most popular tourist town on the Sunshine Coast, attracting thousands of tourists and surfers all year round. It has twenty beaches of all sizes, the most popular of which is Noosa Heads. Due to the high number of tourists to the town, the tourism, hospitality and catering industries are the sectors that offer the highest number of jobs.
