About Perth

Perth, the capital of Western Australia, is situated on the banks of the Swan River and has several skyscrapers, public parks, and areas around the city with picnic tables set out under the shade of the trees.

The shopping precinct of the city centre is located between William Street and Barrack Street, in an area full of galleries, public squares, and pedestrianised walkways. The shopping highlights are the Hay Street Mall and the Murray Street Mall. Northbridge is the city’s liveliest suburb, with a good nightlife, cafes and restaurants offering diverse types of cuisine.
