The school has an excellent structure, the teachers are great and the nationality mix is very good, giving us the opportunity to get to know different cultures. You experience a huge international feel not only from Australia but from many others countries around the world too.
As I sad about the city (Gold Coast) I don’t consider as a “con” but a point of attention. If you are really interested in learning English, I suggest you do a preparatory course (IELTS, FCE, CAE, etc). These courses push you more, but you will really see the difference when returning to Brazil, especially speaking and writing. I spent four weeks in a General English Course and found out that the format is very similar to Brazil. When I changed to the IELTS Course, where you are required to speak and write essays every week, the change was huge. This is a tip for those who really want to value the investment in learning another language.
It is the best English school on the Gold Coast. The location is good with supermarkets, restaurants, shopping and parks near the school and apartments. The school is comfortable with large classes which facilitate the interactive learning. The apartments of Browns are very well equipped and comfortable. The buildings have a nice pool and gym. But the most important thing is the beautiful view that the balcony of the apartment has to offer! The teachers participate in extra curricular activities, help students to adapt and all the staff are always willing to help with whatever you need! The Gold Coast is the best city to study in within Australia. It's the perfect life that a student wants. The city provides activities in beautiful beaches, parks and zoos! If you surf the Gold Coast is the ideal place as you can surf all day; there are always waves somewhere. And these are waves that are great for surfing!
The mix of students could be more diverse.
